APC dismisses reports of automatic tickets for lawmakers as false

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has refuted claims that it has granted automatic return tickets to all current members of the National Assembly, describing the reports as false and misleading.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, labeled the circulating reports as “fake news” and urged both party members and the public to disregard them.

“The report is FAKE NEWS and should be disregarded in its entirety as it did not emanate from our great Party,” Morka said.

He cautioned that the claims were of “mischievous origin,” intended to misinform the public and sow confusion within the party’s internal processes.

The clarification follows rising speculation over APC’s candidate selection strategy ahead of the next general elections.

Morka emphasized that any official party decisions will be announced through verified and authorized channels.
