A Father’s Day Tribute

It’s Father’s Day…
But today, my heart reaches out beyond the traditional.
I want to celebrate every father who goes the extra mile —
Fathers who take care of children that are not biologically theirs,
Fathers who stand in the gap for the fatherless,
Fathers who intercede in prayer not just for their own homes, but for many others,
Fathers who look out for orphans,
Fathers who use their offices and positions not to harm, suppress or deny children’s rights — but to promote hope, restore dignity, and raise dreams.
I also pause to honour the single mothers who play both roles —
You wipe tears, provide bread, give counsel, and offer protection.
You are heroes in plain clothes.
To the divorced mothers carrying the entire weight alone, still choosing to love and give their all —
I see your pain. I honour your courage. I celebrate your daily sacrifices.
This is more than a greeting;
It’s a call to see and appreciate every man and woman who fathers by action, not just by title.
So, if you understand this message…

Help me celebrate them.
Say a prayer. Send a message. Show love.
Because fatherhood is not just biology — it’s responsibility, consistency, and love.
