The Ekiti State Government has announced that the written examination for its ongoing recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff into public secondary schools will hold on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Authorities have also issued a strong warning against impersonation and exam malpractice.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by the Permanent Secretary of the Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission, Mr. Michael Boluwade, the examination will take place at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti.

“All applicants are expected to arrive at the examination venue by 8:00 a.m. for accreditation,” Boluwade stated.

He emphasized that anyone caught engaging in impersonation or other forms of malpractice would face strict penalties.

Candidates are required to bring a coloured printout of their registration form and the result of the recently conducted Computer-Based Test (CBT). Boluwade made it clear that failure to present these documents will result in disqualification from the examination.

He explained that the written test is the second phase of the recruitment process for both academic and non-academic positions in the state’s public secondary schools.

Only candidates who met the required cut-off marks in the CBT—50% for most subjects and positions, and 40% for Mathematics—will be invited to participate in the written exam.

Applicants were advised to check their email inboxes or visit the recruitment portal regularly for further updates and examination details.
