Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Inter-Party Affairs and Convener of the Ogo Ilaje National Movement (OINM), Hon. Fadeshola Ojamomi, has congratulated Senior Comrade Bola Ajimuda on his appointment as Commissioner representing Ondo State at the Federal Character Commission (FCC).

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently approved Ajimuda’s appointment, a move Ojamomi described as a “well-deserved recognition” of the activist’s years of dedication to justice, equity, fairness, and grassroots development.

In a statement on Tuesday, Ojamomi said the appointment was a strategic political and socio-economic milestone for Ilaje Local Government and the entire state.

He commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his role in recommending Ajimuda, noting that the governor’s advocacy reflected “a commitment to inclusive governance and fair representation.”

“The Federal Character Commission is a vital institution for ensuring fairness in the allocation of opportunities and resources across the federation. With Comrade Ajimuda on board, Ondo State’s interests will be well protected and projected at the national level,” Ojamomi said.

He expressed confidence in Ajimuda’s capacity to represent the state with “integrity, courage, and passion for development,” calling on all indigenes of Ondo State to support him as he undertakes the new national assignment.
