The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, will be crowned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Findings confirmed that Governor Seyi Makinde has approved his nomination, paving the way for the coronation.
A state delegation was said to have met with Ladoja and members of the Olubadan-in-Council at his Bodija residence on Wednesday to finalise arrangements.
Ladoja’s media aide, Adeola Oloko, also confirmed the development, noting that the coronation ceremony will hold at the historic Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
It will be recalled that the Olubadan-designate met with the kingmakers on Tuesday at his residence, a step considered significant in the build-up to his enthronement.
