Hon. Alfred Emberga has been sworn in as the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly.
The swearing-in ceremony was conducted on Sunday after the resignation of the former Speaker earlier in the day.
Emberga, who until now was a principal member of the Assembly, pledged to provide purposeful leadership and work in harmony with his colleagues to advance the legislative agenda of the House.
