The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has postponed the implementation of its revised service fees to October 1.

In a public notice issued on Saturday in Abuja, the commission explained that the decision was made to allow for the full stabilisation of its upgraded Company Registration Portal, expected to be completed by mid-September.

The new fees had initially been scheduled to take effect on August 1 but were later shifted to September 1 due to technical challenges.

According to the commission, the latest extension is aimed at ensuring a smooth transition into the new service regime and at delivering better value to customers and stakeholders.

The CAC noted that the deferment underscores its commitment to efficient, customer-focused services in line with global standards.

It also expressed appreciation to customers and stakeholders for their patience and cooperation during what it described as a critical phase in its ongoing transformation process.

The commission reaffirmed its determination to build a modern, intelligent registry that would further support Nigeria’s ease of doing business initiatives.
