Senator Olajide Ipinsagba, representing Ondo North Senatorial District, has met with all 72 ward councillors across the six local government areas of the district to strengthen collaboration for development.

At the meeting, held with political leaders in attendance, the senator highlighted his achievements in education, infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, energy, and empowerment.

He assured the councillors that his programmes would not be implemented in isolation but with their active participation.

According to Ipinsagba, effective governance requires synergy between federal legislators and grassroots representatives.

He pledged to make councillors key stakeholders in shaping and monitoring intervention projects across communities.

Speaking on behalf of the councillors, Hon. Kolade Akande, the Ondo North Coordinator, praised the senator for engaging grassroots lawmakers, describing the meeting as unprecedented.

He pledged their full support for the senator’s initiatives in line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the state’s EASE mandate under Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

The event was attended by political leaders from across the senatorial district.
