The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of Mrs. Nancy Sabanti Nathan as the Acting Head of Service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
Her appointment, announced on Tuesday, follows the death of the immediate past Head of Service, Mrs. Grace Adayilo, who passed away last week.
According to a statement by the minister’s aide, Lere Olayinka, Nathan will serve in an acting capacity until a substantive appointment is made.
Before her elevation, Mrs. Nathan was the Permanent Secretary of the Youth Development Secretariat in the FCTA.
She had also served as Director of Finance and Administration in the Office of the FCT Minister before her posting as Permanent Secretary.
The statement added that her appointment takes immediate effect.
