A 30-year-old man, Azeez Bolakale, was on Tuesday arraigned before an Ikorodu Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State for allegedly stealing a security light valued at N2 million.
The defendant, whose residential address was not disclosed, faced a one-count charge of stealing and pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutor ASP Aminu Isaac told the court that the alleged offence was committed on August 26 at Ori-Okuta, Agric area of Ikorodu.
He said the act contravened Section 287 of the Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015.
Presiding Magistrate B.A. Sonuga granted Bolakale bail in the sum of N500,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case until October 9 for mention.
