Former Ondo State Head of Service, Barrister Toyin Akinkuotu, has died. He passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Akinkuotu, a respected administrator, was also the founder of Lujama Heritage, an initiative dedicated to cultural preservation and community development.

In a tribute confirming his passing, Alhaji Akinkunmi M.A. (Ph.D), Secretary to the Chairman, described him as a devoted public servant whose impact on the Ondo State Government and its people would remain enduring.

“With a heavy heart, we announce the demise of our beloved brother, the brain behind Lujama Heritage, the former Head of Service, Barrister Toyin Akinkuotu.

His legacy and contributions to the Ondo State Government and the Ondos will forever be remembered and cherished.

May the good Lord grant him eternal rest,” the statement read.
