Nollywood actress Scarlet Gomez has said her marriage is built on trust and understanding, stressing that her husband is not bothered by her performing romantic or kissing roles in movies.

During the conversation, media personality Isbae U made a remark about how audiences often blur the line between characters and real-life partners when actors perform romantic scenes.
He jokingly noted that viewers sometimes struggle to separate fiction from reality after watching intimate scenes involving actors.
Reacting, Gomez maintained that her husband understands the demands of her profession and does not allow insecurity to interfere with their relationship.
According to her, confidence and mutual trust have remained the foundation of their marriage, adding that her partner respects her work and has no issue with her on-screen roles, including kissing scenes.
She further dismissed the idea of jealousy over acting roles, stressing that emotional maturity is key in sustaining a healthy marriage in the entertainment industry.
