The City Boy Movement in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State has inaugurated its local government executives and ward coordinators as part of efforts to deepen its grassroots structure.
The inauguration ceremony, held on May 1, 2026, at the movement’s secretariat in Ondo City, was conducted by the State Coordinator, Hon. Tomide Akinribido.
Speaking at the event, Akinribido urged the newly appointed officers to prioritise unity and commitment in building a formidable structure across the local government.
He charged them to ensure effective coordination within their respective wards and work towards expanding the movement’s presence at the grassroots.
“The responsibility before you is enormous. You must remain dedicated and focused on strengthening the structure of the movement in your various areas,” he said.
The newly inaugurated local government executives include Faseminikan Philips Tope as Coordinator, Omololu Abel as Assistant Coordinator, and Kayode Igbekoyi as Secretary.
Others are Alli Moshood Abiodun as Organising Secretary, Oyedun Blessing as Publicity Secretary, Adewetan Adewale Vincent as Treasurer, and Otunba Temidayo Folajimi as Welfare Secretary.
Also appointed are Fadugbagbe Yetunde Rachael as Women Representative, Akintimehin Samuel as Youth Representative, and Ikusika Temitayo as Movement Adviser.
Ward coordinators were also unveiled for various wards in the council area, including Afolabi Kemisola for Ward 1, Oyekola Samuel Oludare for Ward 2, and Akinshipe Oloyede for Ward 3, among others.
Akinribido expressed confidence in the ability of the newly inaugurated officers to deliver on their mandates and contribute to the growth of the movement across Ondo State.
