Adeniyan presented the cheque to the Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Ondo State Chapter, Comrade Tola Gbadamosi, at his office in Akure for onward distribution to the beneficiaries.

The initiative has become a regular support scheme for widows of deceased journalists in the state, providing financial assistance and relief to the families of media practitioners who have passed away.
