Army Redeploys 195 Battalion From Battle Field

 

Nigerian Army has redeployed the troops of 192 battalion from the battlefield after five years of counter insurgency operations in the North East. The troops are due to get de-inducted at NASI in Jaji area of Kaduna State.

Troops of 192 battalion is popular for their participation in the liberation of Gwoza town in Borno State some five years ago.‬ Recently,
the troops also conducted an audacious and well coordinated raid on the hideout of Boko Haram terrorists at Kwatara on the mandara mountains of Gwoza town of Borno State on June 8, 2020.

The successfully executed operation resulted in the death of many terrorists, while others escaped with gunfire injuries. It is again on record that the same troops of 195 Battalion killed 14 Boko Haram terrorists and also rescued 11 kidnapped civilians from a village suspected to be harbouring terrorists that ambushed a civilian vehicle in Pulka on Wednesday, September 5,2018.

Meanwhile, the redeployed troops have been congratulated for a
successful tour of duty in the North East zone.
