Federal legislator representing Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency of Ondo State, Hon. Tajudeen Adeyemi Adefisoye has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on occasion of his 70th birthday.
Small Alhaji as he is popularly known, greeted the national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in a statement he personally signed and released in Abuja on Tuesday.
The youngest member of the Federal House of Representatives from Southern Nigeria described the Jargaban of Borgu Kingdom as an unusual leader of leaders who has made immense contributions to the the political and economic development of Nigerian nation.
“Asiwaju is our father and leader whose contributions to Lagos State and Nigerian nation at large can never be wished away. He has selflessly nurtured and produced many leaders for the overall benefits of our nation”.
The Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Army also described Asiwaju Tinubu as a dependable pillar of Nigerian democracy whose efforts at deepening the nation’s democratic process is worth celebrating.
“Contributions of Jargaban in deepening our nation’s democracy is quite exemplary. He is an unusual leader that left his plum job as the Treasurer of Mobil for the sake of democracy. We were all witnesses to how he fought military dictators and deployed committed efforts and maximum resources for the sponsoring of pro-democracy activities and groups during the military era”.
Adefisoye also praised the former Lagos Governor for his economic genius which has manifested in the astronomical increase in the monthly internally generated revenue of Lagos . He equally praised the former senator for delivering ingenious blue print that turned Lagos State to a sub-regional leader in economic and infrastructural growths.
Small Alhaji also wished Tinubu many more years of committed and selfless service to Nigeria and humanity in good health and fulfilled desires.
“I wish the National leader of our great party many more years of selfless services to Lagos State, Nigerian nation and humanity in unfailing health, sound mind and fulfilled desires”, Adefisoye prayed.
