The inauguration event held at the International Events Centre (The Dome), Akure, marked a significant moment in the political landscape of the state.

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, in his address at the event, emphasized Chief Adelami’s exemplary record of service and leadership, expressing confidence in his ability to contribute meaningfully to the state’s progress.

The Governor praised his sterling credentials as a seasoned technocrat, administrator, and philanthropist who will bring fresh ideas and new energy to the administration, urging him to uphold integrity, accountability, and humility in his new role.

Addressing the recent dissolution of the State Executive Council, Governor Aiyedatiwa reiterated that the decision was made in the best interest of the people, with the aim to rejuvenate and reinvigorate the administration for maximum delivery on its mandate.

The Governor expressed gratitude to the State House of Assembly for their swift confirmation of Adelami’s appointment, emphasizing the importance of mutual trust and cooperation between the executive and legislative arms of government.

Chief Adelami, in his inaugural address,
appealed to the people of the state to rally behind Governor Ayedatiwa’s administration, highlighting the achievements within just a month of Governor Ayedatiwa’s tenure.

He noted the return of contractors to project sites and reiterated the administration’s commitment to continuing the laudable projects initiated by late Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

Adelami expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people of Ondo State and pledged his unwavering loyalty to the Governor and dedication to his duties.
