Former President Muhammadu Buhari has relocated to his Kaduna residence after spending close to two years in Daura, Katsina State, following the conclusion of his tenure in May 2023.
Since leaving office, Buhari has maintained a low profile, staying away from political activities.
His move to Kaduna was accompanied by several notable figures, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani.
Also present were Mamman Daura, former and current deputy governors of Katsina State, a former Inspector General of Police, ex-ministers, and some of his longtime aides.
During his time in Daura, Buhari focused on personal engagements and avoided political affairs.
Recently, he revealed that he has been generating income by renting out one of his two houses in Kaduna.
