Ebuka songs breaks silence on exit from Moses Bliss’ record label, spotlite nation

Renowned Nigerian gospel singer, Ebuka Songs, has finally addressed his departure from Moses Bliss’ record label, Spotlite Nation, revealing the reasons behind his decision.

Ebuka, who initially signed a three-year deal with the label, left after just 11 months.

His exit was first acknowledged by Moses Bliss in December 2024, with the gospel star stating that Ebuka had chosen to pursue an independent path in his music career.

Speaking on the Open Up podcast, Ebuka explained that his decision was primarily driven by a desire to focus more on his ministry.

“I will always be grateful to Moses Bliss for his impact on my life. At that time, I had the anointing and talent, but I lacked professional guidance. However, I believe this phase of my journey requires me to dedicate myself fully to my ministry. We are in a good place,” he said.

Addressing his silence on the matter, Ebuka explained that he intentionally refrained from making public statements to avoid unnecessary speculation.

“I chose not to speak about my departure earlier because I didn’t want to spark debates. Sometimes, we reach a stage where we just need to focus on the next phase of our lives. For me, that phase is fulfilling God’s assignment for me,” he added.

Despite moving on from the label, Ebuka assured his supporters that there was no conflict between him and his former team, emphasizing that he remains on good terms with them as he continues his ministry.
