A member of the House of Representatives, Clara Nnabuife, has left the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to join the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Nnabuife, who represents Orumba North/Orumba South Federal Constituency in Anambra State, attributed her decision to being excluded from YPP’s activities.
In a letter read during Thursday’s plenary by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, she stated that APGA offers a better platform to fulfill the aspirations of her constituents.
“The exclusion from the activities of YPP and the need to embrace a better platform to represent the wishes of my people is the reason for this decision,” the letter read in part.
