Nollywood star, Regina Daniels, has sparked concern among fans after breaking down in tears in a viral video, where she expressed emotional distress and hinted at returning to her husband, Ned Nwoko.
The visibly distraught actress, in a clip shared via her Instagram Story in the early hours of Friday, lamented her struggles, saying she was overwhelmed and mentally exhausted.
“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” Daniels said tearfully.
Her outburst came barely a day after she celebrated the reconciliation of her estranged parents, whom she said reunited solely for her happiness.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote.
Daniels revealed that both parents were currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has allegedly been in detention for days.
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she declared.
In another video, actress Mercy Johnson was seen searching for Sammy, saying, “He’s not here,” as she vowed to continue the search elsewhere.
Breaking down further, Daniels voiced frustration over her brother’s prolonged detention and hinted at returning to her marital home.
“But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she said.
The latest development comes weeks after Daniels was seen in another viral video alleging domestic violence in her marriage.
In that clip, recorded on October 18, the actress wept, saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing.
But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence; it’s too much.”
Nwoko, however, denied the allegations, attributing her behaviour to “drug and alcohol abuse” and claiming she needed rehabilitation.
Earlier this week, Daniels had appealed to Nigerians to stop attacking her mother, describing her as her “pillar and protector.”
She also vowed to protect her two sons, Munir and Khalifa, saying, “I’m going to fight for my children.
I’ll take them, train them, and raise them with or without your support.”
The actress’s recent emotional outbursts have continued to stir reactions on social media, with fans expressing worry over her well-being.
