The City Boy Movement in Ondo State has pledged to deliver one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.

The assurance was given during a strategic meeting with the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Chief Olayide Adelami, on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Leading the delegation, the State Director of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Oluwafemi Ayejusunle, reaffirmed the group’s unwavering commitment to President Tinubu’s re-election bid.

Ayejusunle stated that the movement has intensified mobilization efforts across the three senatorial districts and all local government areas of the state, with members working tirelessly to ensure overwhelming support for the President.

According to him, the planned one million votes would be a reward for President Tinubu’s transformative leadership and the various developmental projects being implemented across the country.

In his response, Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami commended the City Boy Movement for its dedication and encouraged members to further strengthen efforts at promoting and publicising the achievements of President Tinubu, particularly through digital platforms.

He noted that it is important for Nigerians to understand and appreciate the progress made by the administration within a relatively short period.

“The President has performed well, and we should not allow the security challenges facing the country to overshadow his achievements,” the Deputy Governor said.

Adelami also expressed confidence in the ability of the City Boy Movement to deliver massive support for President Tinubu in the state, describing the group as a significant force in Ondo State’s political landscape.
