No fewer than 42 Nigerians have been deported from Ghana’s Ashanti Region after being convicted by various courts for offences including prostitution and fraud. The deportation was disclosed in a Facebook post on Thursday by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Frank Amoakohene, who said the exercise followed due legal processes. One person was killed and a house razed at the weekend as violence erupted in Ugborodo community following renewed clashes between rival factions. Gunmen have attacked Bundu-Kahugu community in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing four residents and injuring seven others.
