The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says two persons sustained injuries in an auto crash on the Agbara-Badagry expressway in Lagos State on Monday. Gunmen shot a man dead in front of his house in Abeokuta on Sunday, police confirmed on Monday. Police spokesperson in Ogun, SP Omolola Odutola, stated that two gunmen alighted from an unregistered Toyota Corolla vehicle and shot the man in his head as he was lounging in front of his house. The assailants fled the scene immediately, she added. She stated that upon hearing gunshots, neighbours raised the alarm and placed a call to the police to report the incident. Police in Enugu State on Monday sought the support of public-spirited individuals, groups, and organisations for the family of a police corporal whose wife was delivered of a set of triplets on March 21. Their offences ranged from misconduct, theft, examination malpractice, hostel bed-space racketeering, extortion and assault to admission racketeering.
