The Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court has sentenced a man, Rasheed Wasiu, to life imprisonment for raping his neighbour’s 11-year-old daughter (name withheld). The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has said no fewer than 10 passengers were killed in a crash involving a DAF trailer on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway. FRSC spokesman Jonas Agwu said in a statement on Tuesday that the Monday crash resulted from excessive speed, overloading and fatigue.
