For allegedly stealing 200 bags of Dangote cement, valued at N2 million, five men were, on Thursday, arraigned before the Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, The defendants, Sunday Asagunla, 19; Azeez Yisau, 19; Ayomide Oladejo, 18; Wasiu Kabiru, 25; and Raheem Yakubu, 42, are charged with conspiracy, stealing and receiving stolen property. The House of Representatives has dismissed a petition accusing the managing director of the Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), Bello Koko of recording a bad debt of N178 billion in the audited financial statement of the authority in 2019.
