Troops of the Operation Forest Sanity supported by assets of the Nigerian Air Force, have killed scores of bandits in Galbi, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The troops also recovered two General Purpose Machine Guns (GPMGs), three AK47 rifles and seven motorcycles from the enclave of the neutralised bandits. Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has directed leaders of Ebira in the state to help security agencies flush out criminals among them. The governor spoke to the Ebira leaders at a closed door meeting held in his office. The Presidency yesterday faulted criticism that it has not done enough to secure the release of the passengers abducted by terrorists during the March 28th attack on the Abuja/Kaduna train. NOTTINGHAM Forest have agreed to a £20m deal with Watford for striker Emmanuel Dennis. Forest have been on a massive recruitment drive following promotion to the Premier League. They are still keen to improve Steve Cooper’s squad to ensure the club does not return straight back to the Championship.
