The Ondo State House of Assembly has passed a bill to amend the Ondo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps law 2022. The members also passed a bill for the establishment of the Ondo State Security Trust Fund. The passage followed the submission of reports by the Chairman, House Committee on Security, Ololade Gbegudu. He noted that the committee carried out a thorough scrutiny before making recommendations. Gbegudu said sections 4, 5, 6, 14, 16 and 18 of the Principal law were amended. The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Wednesday, visited the Kuje custodial center after Tuesday’s terrorist attack on the facility.
