The Federal Government plans to spend N400m as working capital on its proposed national carrier which has failed to begin operations and has remained on the discussion table since 2015. RESIDENTS of Lagos and Ogun states are lamenting as the price of 12.5kg of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), otherwise known as cooking gas rose from N3,800 in October 2020 to N7,500 in October 2021. The Federal Government has disclosed that it has generated N3.93 trillion so far this year, which is 73% of its targeted N7.9 trillion revenue for 2021. The World Health Organisation (WHO) is recommending widespread use of the world’s first malaria vaccine for the decades-long battle against the deadly disease for children at risk. The vaccine is geared towards children, in sub-Saharan Africa and other regions with moderate to high transmission.
