The Gwagwalada Division of the FCT High Court on Thursday sentenced Eze Josiah, an internet fraudster, to two years’ imprisonment for defrauding an American woman of $300. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arraigned the convict on two counts of cheating by impersonation for pretending to be an American citizen on Facebook. The Anambra comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Godwin Nzeribe, has sought support from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on border security and immigration management.
