The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, on Tuesday declared the Ondo South Senatorial District seat vacant following the exit of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim. Akpabio announced the development during plenary, explaining that the vacancy arose from Ibrahim’s recent appointment as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
