The Commander, Nigerian Army Armoured Corps (NAAC), Major General Mohammed Magaji, yesterday commissioned landmark projects in Obienu barracks to immortalise the name of the late Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru. The projects were meant to strengthening the corps security and improve its capacity for administrative purposes. The Ondo State Police Command has described the attack on the school bus of a private school by some hoodlums as a robbery and not kidnapping as being insinuated in some quarters. Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Cybercrime Section, have arrested 11 suspected Internet fraudsters in Lagos. A spokesperson for the commission, Wilson Uwujaren, said the suspects were arrested on Monday in the Alagbado area of Lagos State following credible intelligence received by the commission about their involvement in a computer-related fraud. Three suspected gunrunners have been killed with their weapons recovered in a border town in Sokoto State.
