The military has neutralized armed bandits on the Kaduna-Abuja and Kaduna-Zaria Roads in the early hours of Sunday, 29th November and early hours of Monday, 30th November 2020. Many bandits were killed during the encounter. Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, gave details of the encounter, in a statement. At Kwanar Tsintsiya axis of Kaduna-Zaria Road, Igabi local government, troops of 4 Battalion Nigerian Army overpowered the armed bandits that were shooting at motorists plying the route. The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has revealed that the sports ministry rejected a bill of N81m to cut the grass at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja. BORNO State Governor  Babagana Zulum on Sunday traveled to  Zabarmari,  where he joined hundreds of villagers in the funeral prayers and burial of the 43 farmers killed on their farmlands on Saturday by Boko Haram. Saturday’s killing of rice farmers at Kwashebe by Boko Haram insurgents in  the  Jere Local Government Area of Borno State  attracted strong condemnations from eminent Nigerians and groups on Sunday.
