The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has said that the National Assembly should allow the government get the fresh $5.3 billion loan from China. According to Amaechi, the legislative arm must stop asking questions concerning Nigeria’s loan agreement with China to enable the Asian giants grant the loan. The federal government has disclosed that the Lagos-Ibadan rail project would be completed before January 2021. Soldiers under Operation Sahel Sanity have succeeded in arresting about 22 suspected bandits, informants, and their food suppliers during various operations conducted in Katsina and Zamfara states. Brig-Gen. Benard Onyeuko, the Acting Director, Defence Media Operations, disclosed this in a statement to newsmen, on Thursday, in Katsina. Onyeuko said that the troops also recovered over 40 rustled animals during the operations.
