Ogun State Government on Sunday said no student would be admitted into boarding facilities in private or public schools without negative COVID-19 test certificates. It said the certification will serve as requirements for operations of boarding facilities in secondary schools as SS3 students resume on Monday. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo has said Deputy Governor Hon Agboola Ajayi, is still a member. It said Ajayi has not informed the party of his decision to quit to the party. Ajayi resigned from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in June and joined the opposition PDP but refused to quit office. The Ondo State government has announced the reopening of public and private secondary schools in the state. Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, says the Eti-Osa Isolation Centre has been closed down, with effect from Friday night. Sanwo-Olu announced the closure at Lagos House, Marina, during the 17th update on the management of coronavirus in the state. FIRE on Saturday razed at least seven buildings and 30 shops at popular Ladipo Street in Mushin, Lagos. Operation Sahel Sanity that was launched by Nigerian Army in July 2020 have so far killed 80 bandits that engaged troops in gun fights in Katsina, Zamfara and Sokoto states.
