Seyitan Babatayo, who accused star musician, Oladapo Oyebanjo, popularly known D’Banj, of rape has withdrawn charges against him. She wrote to the police to drop the case, citing personal reasons. The Police also said it was unable to prove a case of rape and cleared the musician. Nigeria has recorded 591 new cases of COVID-19. According to a tweet from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC on Friday night,  the total number of infections in the country is now 39, 539 The tweet revealed that Oyo State had the highest number of infections on Friday with 191 cases, with Lagos State following with 168 cases. Ondo state government is set to reopen for academic activities since the closure of schools on March 20, 2020, due to coronavirus pandemic. The State government has released guidelines, as well as conditions for the reopening of schools across the State.
