House of Representative aspirant, Mr. Olumbe Akinkugbe, held a mega rally in Ondo West yesterday where he reiterated his intentions to represent Ondo West and East at the Federal House of Representatives.
The event which drew a massive crowd of supporters took place at the APC secretariat in Yaba, Ondo. Addressing the crowd of supporters, Olumbe expressed his intentions to represent them at the National Assembly, promising effective leadership and representation. He further reeled out his experiences, family background and achievements in both the private and public sector to demonstrate his preparedness for the job to his teeming supporters.
Speaking on his intentions for his constituents once elected, Olumbe said “we will ensure that our young men and women get decent jobs, so they do not continue to sit at home idle. We will also ensure that we support the trade and businesses of our mothers so they can make enough to keep themselves happy. More importantly, I will ensure that we improve educational and healthcare outcomes in Ondo by investing in improved infrastructure and qualified personnel. Also, we will not neglect the elderly who no longer have the strength to work. We will make special provisions for them because they remain an important part of our society”
