Youth Minister, Stakeholders Convene to Revitalize Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ Initiative for Youth, SMEs
The Minister of State for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, convened with the Director-General of SMEDAN, Charles Odii, and various stakeholders in youth development at the SMEDAN headquarters in Abuja.
Their focus was to strategize on invigorating and reinvigorating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” initiative for youth and SMEs across the nation.
The gathering included representatives from the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN), Sapphital Learning, and Afrilabs. Together, they engaged in a brainstorming session to address the significant challenges encountered by youth and SMEs in the country.
They highlighted the need for improved access to finance, mentorship programs, and skills development opportunities.
The stakeholders also emphasized the importance of creating a conducive business environment to promote the growth and sustainability of youth-led enterprises.
Additionally, they explored innovative strategies to enhance entrepreneurship education and promote digital skills among young people.
The session concluded with a commitment to collaborate and implement actionable solutions to support the “Renewed Hope” initiative and drive youth empowerment and SME development in Nigeria.
