Owo Youth Alliance responds to allegations against Ondo Finance Commissioner

The recent publication by the Ilaje Youth, calling for the rescue of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa from the alleged influence of Hon. Wunmi Isaac, the Commissioner of Finance, is a blatant attempt to tarnish the reputation of a hardworking and dedicated public servant. As a reputable organization, Owo Youth Alliance for Progress, we are compelled to respond to the baseless allegations and set the record straight.

Firstly, we wish to state that the claims made by the Ilaje Youth are unfounded, mischievous, and calculated to discredit Hon. Wunmi Isaac. As the Commissioner of Finance, she has been working tirelessly to ensure the financial stability of Ondo State, and her efforts have been recognized by the state government. It is on record that Hon. Wunmi Isaac has been instrumental in blocking financial leakages, promoting transparency, and ensuring accountability in the management of state funds.

Furthermore, the accusation that Hon. Wunmi Isaac has been delaying government projects and withholding funds is a gross misrepresentation of facts. The Commissioner has been working closely with the Governor to ensure the timely completion of projects and the effective management of state funds. It is also worth noting that the Governor has publicly commended Hon. Wunmi Isaac for her exceptional performance and dedication to duty.

We also wish to debunk the claim that Hon. Wunmi Isaac has been manipulating Governor Aiyedatiwa’s decisions. This is a blatant lie, and we challenge the Ilaje Youth to provide evidence to support their claim. As a responsible and responsive government, we can assure the public that Governor Aiyedatiwa is in full control of his administration and takes decisions based on the best interest of Ondo State.

It is also important to note that Hon. Wunmi Isaac has been a target of unfair criticism and harassment. The recent controversy surrounding her non-appearance before the House of Assembly is a clear example of this. Despite the challenges she has faced, Hon. Wunmi Isaac remains committed to serving the people of Ondo State with integrity, transparency, and accountability.

We are also aware that the Ilaje Youth have been making frantic efforts to discredit Hon. Wunmi Isaac because of her principled stance on issues affecting the state. As a Commissioner, she has taken bold steps to block financial leakages, promote transparency, and ensure accountability in the management of state funds. This has not gone down well with some individuals who have been benefiting from the old order.

We urge the public to disregard the baseless allegations made by the Ilaje Youth. Hon. Wunmi Isaac is a dedicated public servant who has been working tirelessly to promote the development of Ondo State. Her record of service is impeccable, and we stand in solidarity with her.

We also wish to commend Governor Aiyedatiwa for his leadership and vision. His administration has been making steady progress in key areas, including infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. We urge the Governor to remain focused and committed to his vision for Ondo State.

In conclusion, we urge the public to be wary of mischief makers who are bent on discrediting Hon. Wunmi Isaac and Governor Aiyedatiwa. We stand in solidarity with Hon. Wunmi Isaac and commend her for her outstanding service to Ondo State. We also pledge our support for Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration and urge him to remain committed to his vision for Ondo State.

Signed,

Emmanuel Segun Amos,
Coordinator, Owo Youth Alliance for Progress.

Ojigbo Adeleke
Secretary, Owo Youth Alliance for Progress.
