President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially signed into law the creation of the Federal University of Environment and Technology, Ogoni.
The bill was signed on Monday at the State House, with key dignitaries present, including Senator Mpigi Barinada, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, the Minister of Education, and other high-ranking government officials.
The presidency made the announcement through a statement posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, emphasizing that the move reflects President Tinubu’s dedication to addressing the pressing environmental and educational issues in the Ogoni region.
