A man has publicly shared his experience of alleged domestic abuse at the hands of his wife during a counseling session at the Zion Prayer Movement, led by Ebuka Obi.
In an emotional revelation, the man, his wife, and their children attended the session, where he explained to the congregation that whenever he disciplined their children by spanking them, his wife responded by physically attacking him in front of their children.
He mentioned that he had asked his wife to wait until they were alone to retaliate, as doing so in front of the children was damaging.
However, his request was reportedly ignored.
“I told her that if she felt the need to retaliate, she should wait until we’re not around the children,” the man explained.
“But she didn’t listen. Now, any time I punish one of the children, they retaliate, because they’ve seen it from her.”
In the video, the wife appeared agitated and was seen threatening the man while their children attempted to calm her down.
