In a historic move, Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has released funds to members of the Ondo State House of Assembly for the implementation of constituency projects.

The release of the fund became public knowledge after a lawmaker, Hon. Kolawole Ologede who is representing Akure North Constituency, thanked the Governor on the development in a media report.

However, the significant development marks a stark contrast to the seven-year tenure of his predecessor, during which such an initiative was absent.

The funds will enable lawmakers to address critical local needs, enhance infrastructure, and improve the overall quality of life for their constituents.

Governor Aiyedatiwa’s decision underscores his commitment to proactive leadership and inclusive governance, setting a new precedent for effective service delivery.

It now falls upon the assembly members to utilize these funds responsibly and transparently to drive meaningful change in their respective constituencies.

With this landmark initiative, Governor Aiyedatiwa continues to redefine governance in Ondo State, prioritizing the welfare of the people and ensuring that democracy translates into tangible, real-world benefits.
