The National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the Labour Party’s National Caretaker Committee, led by Senator Nenadi Usman, has commenced in Abuja.
The meeting, taking place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, is being attended by notable party figures, including the 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, and the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti.
In her welcome address, Senator Usman called for unity within the party.
She urged all members, particularly those from the former National Working Committee (NWC) led by Julius Abure, to put aside their differences and join efforts to rebuild the party.
