A one-storey building under construction has collapsed in the Idi-Araba area of Mushin, Lagos State, leaving several people trapped beneath the rubble.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, according to reports.
Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson, Shakiru Amodu, confirmed the development.
He stated that one adult male had been rescued, and emergency efforts are underway to reach others still trapped.
“The building was a one-storey structure under construction,” Amodu said, adding that rescue operations are ongoing.
