The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are currently holding a closed-door meeting in Abuja as part of ongoing preparations for the party’s upcoming National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.
The session began shortly after a brief press interaction at INEC’s headquarters on Tuesday.
Although specific details of the discussions remain undisclosed, the meeting is expected to focus on internal party matters, leadership issues, and preparations for upcoming elections.
In attendance are the PDP’s acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum; INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu; several PDP governors; and top INEC officials.
