A dramatic incident unfolded at an FCMB branch as a young man was discovered hiding in the bank’s ceiling after an alleged failed overnight robbery attempt.
Eyewitnesses said the suspect had entered the bank during business hours and quietly locked himself inside the restroom.
From there, he reportedly climbed into the ceiling, intending to wait until staff had closed for the day.
The plot unraveled the next morning when employees arrived and found the main entrance locked from the inside.
Alarmed, they forced the door open and were soon alerted by strange noises coming from above.
Security personnel eventually pulled the suspect down from the ceiling, where he was allegedly caught trying to tamper with the bank’s systems.
A viral video shows him being dragged out, beaten, and restrained with a rope by security operatives and bystanders.
