The Anambra State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has denied being part of any coalition arrangements ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking to journalists in Awka on Saturday, the state chairman of the party, Chidi Chidebe, stated that the PDP in Anambra remains united and fully aligned with the directives of its national leadership.
Chidebe clarified that the state chapter was not involved in any coalition discussions and described any such moves as personal initiatives that do not reflect the position of the party.
“I want to make it very clear that we are not in any coalition. This is the official stance of our party at the national level, and we are fully committed to it,” he said.
He stressed that the PDP in Anambra is focused on strengthening its internal structures and working under the guidance of the national leadership in preparation for future elections.
