A 25-year-old man, identified as Micheal Ikuedowoni, has reportedly been stabbed to death by his girlfriend, Augustina Mowari, during a heated altercation in the Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.
According to police authorities, the fatal incident occurred following an argument over suspicions of infidelity.
The suspect allegedly used a pair of scissors to stab the deceased after accusing him of being romantically involved with another woman.
The spokesman for the Ondo State Police Command, SP Olayinka Ayanlade, confirmed the development on Monday, stating that the suspect has been arrested and is currently in custody.
“An argument broke out between both parties, and she brought out scissors to stab the boy before he died,” Ayanlade said. “The lady is now in our custody, and the case will be charged to court after the conclusion of our investigation.”
