Indian authorities have dismantled a suspected international drug syndicate operated by three Nigerian women in Delhi, recovering large quantities of cocaine and MDMA from their possession.

According to a report by The Times of India, the suspects, identified only as Precious, Gift, and Joy, were arrested near Bakhtawar Chowk following the earlier apprehension of an Indian national, Adarsh Sahu, who was allegedly linked to the network.

Police said Sahu, a resident of Badaun district in Uttar Pradesh, was first arrested near Green Health Pharmacy in Sector 39 with 26 grams of MDMA in his possession.

His confession reportedly led investigators to the three Nigerian women believed to be his suppliers.

An investigating officer told reporters that after receiving credible intelligence, law enforcement conducted a raid that resulted in the arrest of the suspects and the recovery of 39 grams of MDMA.

Further questioning led police to a rented apartment in Khanpur Extension, Delhi, where another suspect, Joy, was apprehended. A search of the premises yielded 22 grams of white MDMA, three grams of brown MDMA, nine grams of cocaine, an electronic weighing scale, packaging materials, and mobile phones.

All four suspects have been remanded in police custody for further interrogation as authorities intensify efforts to uncover additional members of the network.

This latest arrest follows a series of similar crackdowns involving foreign nationals in Asia, including a recent case in Thailand where a Nigerian man was detained for drug trafficking after a nightclub raid in Bangkok.
