The family of a 19-year-old nursing student, Aisha Ibrahim, has raised alarm over her sudden disappearance in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
Aisha, who hails from Gombe State, was said to have gone missing on October 30, 2025, while on her way to Glorious Amazing Grace and Maternity, Ikot Ekpo, 8 Miles Junction, where she was undergoing her industrial training.
Her brother-in-law, Shehu Muhammed Danladi, told Daily Post that the family last saw or heard from her the morning she left home for the hospital.
“She left home that morning for work and has not returned since then.
We have searched everywhere and contacted friends and colleagues, but no one seems to know her whereabouts,” Danladi said.
He added that Aisha, who resided in the Nasarawa area, a Hausa settlement in Calabar, had no history of disappearing and was focused on her studies.
“Since that day, we haven’t heard from her again. We are deeply worried and appeal to anyone with useful information to assist us,” he said.
The family urged members of the public with information about Aisha’s whereabouts to contact Glorious Amazing Grace and Maternity Hospital or call 07071408717.
As of the time of filing this report, police authorities in Cross River had yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
